    The "DP" is a unit that independently operates within the Judiciary, which provides high-quality legal services, advice, and representation to defendants who could not otherwise access them (can't afford a lawyer). It's all litigation based, this means all lawyers get to spend a lot of time in court and with clients. It's a public service supported by governments. I have been a senior lawyer at DP for more than 3 years. I am proud of the high standard of criminal law advocacy work we do for those in the community who cannot afford to pay for their own attorney. I like the variety of cases and the challenge that each new file presents - doing the best I can for my client. I like to appear in court, as well as dealing with clients. I am also pleased, as a senior lawyer, to mentor my less experienced colleagues and help them develop their skills and knowledge.

    The TJRS is an organ of the Judiciary of the State of RS, the High Court of Justice of Southern Brazil, where I had the privilege of working together with a Supreme Court Judge - the most distinguished Sir. Danúbio Edon Franco.About my tasks: The primary task is to research legal cases, laws, and documents as directed by the judge, usually, we receive more than 200 new cases per month. The daily bases in the high court office also include preparing and filing cases to the next court hearing; checking information for accuracy, attending meetings, completing tasks in conjunction with other members of the court, also making clerical tasks including handle confidential documents, information, and serving coffee.
