    Driving innovation on automation with a global team of researchers was an exciting time in my career. As I am passionate about creating value for customers these years were a unique opportunity to get to know customer pains and needs, and do research in new technologies solving these pains and needs. Finally we were successful to transfer many of these innovative ideas to our business units.

    At ETM I started as a software developer in order to ramp up my know how in the areas of SCADA systems and automation. As a project manager I was leading projects for customers - and in close collaboration with customers - in Europe and the US. After the acquisition of ETM by Siemens I took the responsibility to build a runtime platform for Siemens products, based on the core of an existing ETM product. After ramping up an international team of 160 team members, I was driving the change to an agile development process.
