      As the first professional marketing communications personnel hired to build and develop below – the – line marketing at Pagatech limited, I assisted in the hiring of A+ candidates across all Paga regions in Nigeria (Lagos, West, North and South). Before this highly functional team was formed, it was my responsibility to directly manage the BTL marketing agency, work on all reports, monitor all activations across regions, collate and analyze data for full use, suggest best ways to reach the consumers at the grass root level, form and build a relationship with authorities, develop and manage functional BTL budgets (making sure the marketing agencies bill right) identify new areas of growth and feedback to the management team. The team is diversifying to follow the new trend in marketing – experiential activities.As the need to grow agent network sales became urgent, I was given an additional role to support trade marketing. The focus for my team then became supporting consumers who transact by themselves on a one on one basis and the agents. We came up with a strategy to plan and execute all point of sales branding, pan Nigeria. The team also designed and executed a reward scheme that increased agent transactions in volume and value, bringing additional revenue to both the agents and the Paga business. A program targeted towards agent customers to push increased word of mouth spread about Paga product and services, increased cross selling at the agent outlet and also increased footfall all by about 30% within a month. We localize most of our activities to suit each region’s peculiarities along with any umbrella execution we might have.I and my team are persistently looking for better ways to make our customer touch points more visible to enable us persistently increase transactions and revenue for both the agents and the Paga business.

      With a fast paced project and client and the need to serve as a stop gap for a UNILEVER brand, I was hired at Azzagai to execute a pan – Nigerian activation within the period stated above. The brand LIFEBUOY was being re – introduced into the Nigerian market and we were to find a way around getting this done effectively. Developing and managing a budget of well over N100 Million Naira, we developed a team of 10 brand ambassadors in 12 markets in Lagos (3 to wear plain white, navy looking uniforms and the rest to distribute fliers and engage in consumer awareness, data capture and sales).We had a branded booth with a washing basin constructed around it with functional taps in the middle of major markets in Lagos, we were in malls and other prominent areas showing to consumers the difference between washing their hands with ordinary water and washing with LIFEBUOY soap. Under a UV ray consumers could see the difference on their palms.We made larger than life mock – ups of LIFEBUOY soaps ready for deployment on the popular 3rd mainland bridge. I managed the brand ambassadors, stock from UNILEVER and the end to end delegation of the successful execution. Other brands I worked on with teams were SAMSUNG, PEPSI, KALAHARI, among others.
