Voluntary break for personal growth
-
Oct 2016 - Nov 2018
I took a voluntary break in order to to learn Spanish and spend time with my loved ones prior to my move to the US. I wanted to take up Spanish owing to my interest in music and to enhance my communication skills since it is the second most spoken language in the US as well as as in the world. I now have acquired level B2 in Spanish. I can interact with native speakers, produce clear and detailed texts about diverse topics and understand the gist of texts about both concrete and abstract topics. Due to my proficiency in the language and my past musical experience, I got the opportunity to work on an assignment for singing a bunch of nursery rhymes for a popular Spanish children's channel called Wow Kidz Español. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kJTq8OSuVm0&t=16s
