- Responsible for overseeing the creation of the East Coast, West Coast and Mountain Time Zone Network Broadcast Logs by interfacing with those operating areas for broadcast schedule management.- Ensure all elements are properly placed in the mainframe computer system prior to Log distribution by fully understanding Program Operations and the Network Feeds to over 200 ABC affiliates.- Coordinate proper placement of all elements on Broadcast Log by communicating with various departments: Sales, Promotions, Affiliate Relations, Broadcast Standards and Practices, Program Operations, Sports Operations, Traffic, Commercial Integration, AD Scheduling, and Facilities.- Communicate and resolve potential station clearance issues with Network Affiliate Relations.- Coordinate the network broadcast schedules for the 200 plus ABC affiliates and technical facility usage. - Multi-task complex operational and technical issues to meet the needs of individual programs and commercials to the ABC affiliates.- Managing technical broadcast facility assignments for satellite distribution including live programs, and 3rd channel audio, such as S.A.P. and Video Description. Coordinate :05 second delay on all live broadcasts.- Managing multiple station requirements for simultaneous live to air feeds and delay broadcast feeds.- Ensure accurate information transferred to Broadcast logs including: show timings, show numbers, show titles, closed captioning, local station breaks, program formats, label rating.- Create NTSC and HDTV logs for special events, including: Super Bowl XXXVII, Super Bowl XL, NBA Playoffs, NHL Finals, and The Academy Awards.- Create a Mountain Time Zone log for Broadcast to Mountain Stations, which ABC began on 11/30/06. - Coordinate with Transmission, Regional Sales and Sports Operations to properly feed regional commercials/regional games to the correct portions of the United States.
