Bio
David W.
Susan is a tried and tested embroidery and print/textile lead designer. We met in 2010, in the Dorfman Pacific (now Dorfman Milano) Art Department. It was and still is a high-workload/short turn-around time environment. It’s astounding that such a lean team can produce the quantity and quality of work that comes out of there. During my time there, I’ve always been impressed with the caliber of custom work Susan is constantly able to create within the most unforgiving timetables. And I’m not the only one, her designs for clients such as: Disney, Warner Bros., Bass Pro Shops, House of Blues, to name a few on the tip of this client roster iceberg, have lead to literal millions of dollars in sales and millions more in return business and secured licenses. As the lead for the most important accounts, she has proven to be an efficient and capable leader and manager. Her fashion school background shows through in her insights and guidance when giving her designs and the work she oversees that bespoke edge that resonates with buyers. She is a true expert in this field after all these years of taking work from concept, to approval, to inter-department development, to overseas manufacturing, to having the best completed product possible. I wholeheartedly recommend Susan, and know any team she leads will succeed.
