    Progressed from Accountant to Accounting Supervisor I in the Financial Operations Department which provided accounting support for all university campuses and departments. As Accounting Supervisor in the Plant Accounting area, I had 3.5 FTEs: two Accountants, one Capital Specialist, and .5 of an Administrative Assistant. Plant Accounting was responsible for capital assets, real property, building construction project accounting, and reporting and payments of capital bonds. Calculated the monthly drawdown from bond-funded building projects and recorded the bond investment earnings, and capitalization costs of building construction. Responsibile for depreciation expense calculation and all audit reports and support.As a Senior Accountant worked three years in Financial Reporting and security support. Assisted in the preparation and review of all the audited financial statements of The University of Michigan and all its various entities. Coordinated the audit support from the various fund areas and worked extensively with the external auditors, Communications and the Board of Regents annual financial presentation.
