Boston Cancer Support ran three Collective Impact Programs. The Cancer Collaborative workshops provided professional development for healthcare professionals as well as free continuing education credits.The Treatment Transport program (now part of JAF) provides patients with free rides to medical screenings, treatments and support services.The Randi Friedman Wellness Program (now part of JAF) provides free memberships to complementary services such as yoga, meditation, stress management, Pilates and more. Before founding Boston Cancer Support served as a corespondent for The Boston Globe, co-founded the Office of Sustainability at Boston University, and was the senior news and communications specialist and science writer at Brandeis University.
