*Study a potential oncogene (MEA6) which is overexpressed in many types of tumor (including meningioma and glioblastoma). We use specific SiRNA to knock down the potential oncogene in many cell line and establish stable cell line, then we transfer these cells into nude mice and follow tumorgenesis and metastasis. We also use wound healing assay and transwell chamber to detect the tumor character of the gene. Simultaneously, we investigate role of the gene in atherogenesis. This gene was overexpressed or reduced expressing in THP-1. Then the cells were induced differentiation by PMA.
