    Having spent many years in the entertainment industry it seem a natural progression to move into hospitality. I opened Glenavon House as a wedding venue in 2005 and catered for small weddings of up to 40 guests. Although the business was successful I felt that the ware and tear on the house did not justify continuing the business. I then adapted my plans and developed the house as an upmarket B&B. This has proved very successful over the years and has allowed me to create the type of establishment that I would feel comfortable staying in. We have a four star rating with VisitScotland and have numerous recommendations on Trip Advisor and Google. I enjoy meeting people and I like to treat my guests as friends who are staying. Indeed I now have gained many friends from all over the world by them staying as guests at Glenavon House.
