Was sole avionics advisor for the Indigenous Defense Fighter (IDF) program. Performed duties as Subcontract Manager for a major F-16 avionics supplier. Was one of the first engineers selected for the Engineering Mentor program.Determined the root-cause of an "inadvertent" ground launch of an airborne missile. Provided Technical Manual change to correct the problem. Determined the system level root-cause of a chronic power supply failure on USAF missile launchers. Provided multiple corrective action solutions for the problem. Defined requirements for aircraft avionics, weapons, and automatic test equipment. Improved mean-time-between-failures.Developed requirements of weapons release systems for the F-16, IDF, and F-35 Joint Strike Fighter aircraft. Improved the maintainability and reliability for these aircraft.Participated in several Independent Research and Development (IRAD) projects for implementing new technology on Lockheed aircraft. Initiated action and worked with the accreditation committee to obtain initial Southern Association of Schools and College accreditation for the Lockheed courses which provided the students college credit hours for the courses completed.
