    CreativeResponsible for all aspects of creative work from initial meetings with clients, visuals and working concepts through to the completed solution. A complete working knowledge of the various stages of the creative process has given me a unique selection of skills and a good understanding of what can be achieved for a specific project.Web DesignerAs the main point of call for all aspects of website design and Flash construction I had the responsibility for working along side the web developers to create visually appealing websites, and brought in additional knowledge from my creative background. I mainly created in Flash but had used Dreamweaver on numerous occasions to run together tocreate the best of both worlds for the web user. Additional technical expertise had come from my work colleagues but I have always had the ability to learn when necessary.RetouchA total of 18 years constantly learning Photoshop has given me a thorough knowledge of the application and I worked within the retouch department when the work capacity became too great for the main team. I initially began at mda as one of a team of two specialising in this area also using AGFA drum scanners and various other scanning devices. I initially wanted to specialise in image creation using Photoshop but found there were far more opportunities beyond the little dark room.ArtworkerThis position was one which constantly ran with my creative position. When I was able to help out the artwork department with simple amends or more complicated page development it could easily be achieved. A good understanding of the artwork process also came in very handy when creating the job, as it helped eliminate the need for additional work later on before sending to pre-press.

    My job included the checking of all images used in a large variety of publications. Scanning images from supplied formats including transparencies and photographic media on Scitex drum scanners. Colour correcting to exact specifications using tint books and colour knowledge and also retouching damaged images or specific changes requested by clients.
