    Steve’s mission is to help others find solutions for their people, performance, or personal concerns. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and Licensed Mental Health Counselor he has the training, experience, and passion that he harnesses to help others in their most important relationships and most frustrating problems. Steve enjoys participating in the growth of others as they work together on what is important. Steve has 14 years of experience helping people with behavioral, emotional, and relational concerns. He earned both his undergraduate degree (1998) and Masters of Arts in Counseling (2004) from Indiana Wesleyan University.As a Smalley Marriage Intensive Coach Steve is committed to walking with couples through a process proven to breath life and joy back into relationships. Steve has seen first-hand how even very troubled relationships can be rescued through the marriage intensive. Relationships that others may have written-off can return to joy. Restoration, and a return to intimacy, can turn from fantasy to reality, and Steve has seen this happen through the Smalley Intensives. As a Christian Steve realizes he and those he helps are not alone in this process, but are directed through God’s Grace and Truth. Steve believes that God promises real freedom from patterns that keep us stuck. God is for us and actively involved in our growth journeys. So, while learning to cope with difficult situations is helpful, real change and healing is possible! Steve and his wife Kristina own and operate Family Piece LLC, a private counseling, coaching, and consulting practice dedicated to helping marriages, families and individuals “put together the pieces that bring peace and joy to their lives and homes”.
