Work closely with the leasing team during lease negotiations providing preliminary construction budgeting and value engineering suggestions.

Job duties include; assigning projects to architects, sign manufacturers and security providers; acquiring and reviewing bids from general contractors; assisting in the acquisition of building permits; coordinating the purchasing and shipping of furniture, fixtures and equipment; scheduling field representatives to conduct punch list surveys; coordinating store openings with Operations Department managers.

    Managed construction projects for company owned retail optical centers in major US and Canadian department stores such as JC Penny and Sears. Coordinated a facility maintenance program for over 600 existing retail locations. Designed store fixtures and POP displays in conjunction with the Graphics and Advertising departments for both new and existing store locations.
