    Stephen is a landscape designer with over twenty years’ experience in the designand implementation of award-winning public realm spaces in the UK, Central Asia,the Far East, Middle East and Africa. He has a particular interest in the design anddetail of streetscapes, public squares and parks worldwide. At Gillespies he was the team leaderfor the multiple award winning NEO Bankside Residential project in London and the unique Danfoss Universe Park in Denmark. Stephen has also been landscape design team leader for a series of key signature buildings in London including 20 Fenchurch Street, the elevated park over Crossrail Station Canary Wharf, the National Welsh Assembly and One Hyde Park in Knightsbridge with Rogers Stirk Harbour and Partners. Whilst at OvP Associates in Cape Town he was associated with the upgrading of dramatic public facilities on the Table Mountain World Heritage Site. Whilst in Gillespies Malaysia office he developed the designs for the Commonwealth Games Stadium complexAs Partner at Gillespies Stephen’s core remit includes establishing new business and assisting his fellow Partners in leading the design ethos and management of the London and Oxford offices. He gauges his personal success on forging strong and enduring relationships with some of the worlds leading developers and architectural practices. He is motivated by all aspects of landscape design in particular engaging with co professionals to create compelling design narratives.
