Designed and executed test cases for marine navigational software that utilized hardware tools such as Global Positioning System (GPS), RADAR, Automated Identification System (AIS), and Sounder technologies for the commercial and recreational marine industry. Designed, programmed and distributed an emergency test reporting system for a high priority project using html, PHP, and CSS that was used by test engineers, software engineers, and management to track defects in real time. Wrote various requirements test tools that were needed to more accurately test software under test. Assisted in designing framework from which automated testing could be built upon using Rational Robot. Fully tested modified product created to run on Windows XP Embedded and custom created hardware.

Operated, installed, troubleshot, repaired, and maintained various 28, 12, and 440-vot AC and DC power systems that included lighting, distribution systems, diesel generators, and electrical panels throughout a US Navy amphibious vessel. Supervised and managed 16 people in maintenance and repair schedules. Responsible for calibration of all electrical and some temperature and pressure gages. Worked as system administrator of a Information Technology team to manage a windows NT network that included 70 computers. Received Petty Officer of the Quarter and for work on IT team and a Citation of Good Work recognized from a Rear Admiral for work with gage calibration.Finished Navy Career as Electrician's Mate 2nd Class (E-5) and Confidential security clearance from the Department of Defense.
