My client base spans mining, pharmacy, property and engineering; where I help companies engage audiences, maintain their communities and generate leads that convert, in addition to supporting established communications agencies as a white label freelancer, assisting with content development and communication strategy projects for their clients; and tender writing for high profile tender submissions.From click funnels to lead magnets, web copy to proposal preparation, I help my clients by crafting compelling content that connects.During this time, I've had the opportunity to support a number of large-scale tender submissions for some of Australia's biggest infrastructure projects. The work calls for the ability to quickly understand complex material, translating technical details into persuasive, compelling content. I've been fortunate to support a number of well-known brands including Rio Tinto, Downer EDI, John Holland, Acciona and Hatch.

This role spanned the full gamut of internal and external communications opportunities, tools and tactics in supporting a large organisation where discretion is key. Experiences gained here included:* Supporting an award-winning communication campaign for identification, fit out and relocation to new office space for the organisation’s headquarters. This campaign, for which I was solely responsible, was awarded Boeing's first ever Queensland win and national Commendation at the PRIA's Golden Target Awards. * Engaging with trade and news media to promote key opportunities for the business* Developing numerous health, safety and culture campaigns to support the business in prioritising a safe, productive and happy workforce. This included developing content for newsletter articles and intranet pages, video scripts, artwork for digital noticeboards and employee events ranging from small groups through to full business events for over 1500 employees.* Supporting employees through change transitions, including a company reorganisation, office relocations, introduction of new processes and leadership changes. * Supporting senior business leaders with communications advice and opportunities.

Great team, great projects, great opportunity! This primarily internally-focused role for one of Brisbane's largest TAFE training providers (now amalgamated into TAFE Brisbane) was extremely diverse, with results including:* Introducing the organisation to social media, including development of social media accounts, management tools and a social media policy. I also provided initial training for communications team personnel in social media content management. * Ran a change management campaign to transition employees through a complex organisational restructure* Developed an employee engagement event for 500 people on two weeks’ notice. I loved this challenge, which pushed me to stretch a slim budget to engage the workforce. Creative initiatives designed to build employee morale whole simultaneously promoting the event included an ice cream-naming competition for staff, with winning names and flavours served at the event. Beyond that opportunity, event support included numerous internal and external stakeholder events, such as fashion parades and student orientation days.* Delivered the institute’s annual report, including liaising with business units to generate content, and liaising with an external design agency to deliver a high-quality, on-brand end product.
