I joined when the business had roughly 100 employees and oversaw recruitment for half of its business areas, specifically: Commercial (Buying, Marketing, Business Intelligence), Procurement, IT, Finance and PropertyAs well as overseeing the full recruitment lifecycle, there were also opportunities for me to lead and assist with a number of projects across the business. Due to the organisations start-up nature, there was high visibility in my role which allowed me to partner closely with senior management, both in Australia and Germany, on talent attraction, retention, and brand awareness as the business continued to scale in Australia.Unfortunately, Kaufland decided to withdraw from the Australian market in January 2020.
