I consider myself an old-fashioned general assignment reporter and have written about yoga, HIV, prisoner rights, beauty, design and architecture, organic and unrefined sugar, bling and buttocks augmentation surgery. I am the co-author of the Alabama Stitch Book: Contemporary Stories, Lessons and Projects Celebrating Traditional Hand Sewing, Quilting and Embroidery (Stewart, Tabori & Chang) and I also wrote an architectural monograph, entitled Richard Manion Architecture: New Classicists (Images Publishing).
