    • GirlBoss Edge Scholarship Recipient
      • Jul 2020 - Jul 2020

GirlBoss Edge: Primary Industries Edition is a highly selective leadership accelerator programme for high school aged young women.Through this 10 day programme, I underwent high-level leadership training and received transformative mentoring from New Zealand's leading primary industry professionals. I worked in collaboration with the Ministry for Primary Industries to solve real world problems through the 'MPI Challenge'. Through this incredible, life-changing, experience I have been motivated and energised to create change and innovate in the primary sector. Some incredible women that I was privileged to listen to were; Stacey Mareroa - an inspirational speaker, Mele Tabukovu - climate analyst working with the government, Emma Poole - FMG Young Farmer prizewinner and vet. From their life stories and career journeys, I learnt that I needed to be confident in myself, in my passions and to stay true to my values when finding the career I desire. They inspired me to keep learning about my capabilities and strive to achieve more.Link to learn more:
