I lived in Brasilia, Brazil for 2 years teaching English at Casa Thomas Jefferson, Brazil's most respected English language school. I taught English to a range of age groups, including preparing students for rigorous written and oral examinations 3 times a year. I was particularly influenced by the school's excellent mentoring program for teachers new to the organisation and the organisation's cultural program, to which I was pleased to be able to contribute by presenting at a cultural evening about Australia.
