• Staff Management: Total of 15 people, 9 based in London and 6 in EMEA Regions.• Creating a new Financial Dept. in London , together with and external Company Accountant: selection of new finance team of 7 (both qualified and finalists employees), introducing new finance procedures as well as reporting deadline agreed with IT Headquarter, choice of software package to be used both in UK and through the EMEA Offices (Goal achieved in 8 months).• Since this project was successful I have been asked to create a local finance office in each European office location (which was then reporting into the London Headquarter, dealing with local consultants and auditors, getting familiar with local Gaaps, taking care of all financial and legal aspects including selection of qualified internal staff as well as external consultants and introducing new accounting procedure as well as accounting package improvement and migration from Sun to Sage accounting system. (Goal achieved in 11 months together with support and co-operation of the Italian HQ)• Preparation and review of month end accounts, including journals, reconciliation’s, and production of the monthly pack together with control of UK reported profit. • Preparation of budgets in conjunction with sales, marketing and supply chain in different currencies. • Design and Production of all financial quarterly and monthly reports (using macro’s) both in English and Italian • Financial and commercial analysis on overheads.
