    Food & Bio Cluster Denmark was formed in June 2020 by a merger between four clusters, including Agro Business Park, where I was employed. From my base in Bangkok, my main role is ensuring a steady stream of projects to the organisation, primarily from Bio Based Industries and Horizon 2020 programming. At the same time, I head the Enterprise Europe Network unit for Food & Bio Cluster Denmark, helping Danish SMEs with market contacts and advice.

    Although working at the Agro Business Park and the Enterprise Europe Network, I have my own small company which works on independent EU funded projects. Clients include Danish and European public authorities, including municipalities, regions, ministries and NGOs. I've got over 100 projects approved so far, which is pretty good going by any standard I think. Over the past two years, I'm getting more involved with FP7 funding.

    Well, ended up as head of the Danish EEN consortium pretty much by default, but it has been an enjoyable - if fraught, experience so far. I think the biggest challenge is trying to move the network from being an activity based network to a result oriented one. First signs seem to be very good though and it will give us a lot more credibility in the future. There are never two days which are the same. Some days, you end up working on future strategy for the network and replying about the proposed fusion between CIP and RTD, other days you work on recruiting to a matchmaking event, running a workshop, updating information on innovation or.....

    I'm at Væksthus Copenhagen, coordinating the Enterprise Europe Network and supporting EEN services in the capital region of Denmark. Væksthus services seem to fit in well with EEN and include advising on management, strategy, internationalisation and innovation.

    I am working as head of the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) office at the science park, which specialises in Agriculture, Bioenergy, Climate, Environment and Food technologies. The science park runs the largest bioenergy cluster in Northern Europe - INBIOM (Innovation Network for Biomass) with around 500 members. Most of my work is dealing with European project funding for innovative projects.
