    Small team of 3 - 5 specialising in Coatings and corrosion repair. Blasting to SA 2.5 - 3 standard. 3 coat system. application method using airless and conventional spray systems. Large ongoing scope of work. 2 x 45+ meter high vessels. Full external blast / paint, bracings, I beams, landing pads, stairwell and staunches. Internal annular rings, blasted, painted and sealed utilising rope access. Assisted with QA/QC inspections. Blast profile, salt tests and DFT readings. QA/QC documentation. DPM atmospheric readings, dates, application times, batches etc extensive knowledge in the use of hand and power tools.expanding my knowledge in the use of fireproofing systems. Pit charr NX. Spray and trowel application using the ECO plural pump. Securing 2 x Bullet holding tanks yearly. Works consisted of removing defected existing fireproofing. Blasting surface tank, nozzles, connecting structure and saddles. Application of primer to specification. Spray and trowel on pit chart NX 2 x 3.5mm coats with mesh installation in between coats. Topcoat applied, polyurethane at terminations.

    Rope access PIF Team leader at Karratha Gas Plant ( Major hazard facility ) Involved in the planning of all front end scope of work, positively identifying live lines using tablet silver-horse operating systems, GA model shots and isometrics. Coordinating with NACE/AICIP inspectors for daily inspections through all stages. Pre and post prep, mid through to completion, hold point sign offs. Organizing permits and safety walks with WSA and operators to ensure all hazards and controls are in place before commencing works. Conducted daily Pre-starts, debrief and toolboxes. General duties also included Ordering tools, equipment and materials. Thorough and extensive knowledge in the use of computer systems, excel spreadsheets, hour logging. Our team of 25+ staff Painters, Sheet metal/Insulators and fireproofers were professional and easy to work along side, making our system run more efficiently and most important enjoyable.

    Fireproofing Team leader. Organised and planned chartek scope of work with NACE, AICIP and Engineering team. Extensive knowledge and expertise in the application of chartek 7 through all stages. Blast, paint, 1st coat chartek 5mm, HK1 mesh installation, 2nd coat chartek 5mm and UV topcoat. All structural works within stabiliser 2 was completed through trowel application, due to the wastage issues with spray on and also having confined work areas. General duties, ordering product and materials, mixing, panning, inspections.All works were completed under a work pack system. Scope of works, Partials, hold points, QA/QC documentation, Isometrics, GA drawings and deliverables etc. thorough knowledge and understanding of how the system worked.Moved into organising Stopaq scopes when fireproofing was completed. CZH, EZ pliable and CL. Also an abundance of knowledge on the application side

All hand and trowel application.General duties also included mechanical prep, pre-cut mesh, mixing, lagging, assisting sheet metal fabricators, encapsulation and housekeeping.
