    Having won a contract with Next Plc to retail the returned Next Directory mail order products I established my own retail outlet at 23 years of age. The growth rate for such a new business was astonishing and over the next few years, continuing with the mail order returns and discount outlet concept I achieved contracts with other major retailers, some of which included Marks and Spencer, Laura Ashley, Grattan Plc and The Cotswold Company with the business at its height achieving substantial turnover and impressive retail and warehouse positions. In the more established years and responding to trends, demands and opportunities I drove the business forward with continuity stock from domestic and overseas suppliers including bulk stock importation from China, Malaysia, Taiwan and India selling outwardly to the retail domestic, commercial and lettings sectors through several outlets.Recognising the developing downturn in retail around 2007 I applied my business more aggressively toward the student landlord market capitalising on this short but intense season and after the acquisition of the retail base in 2013 I kept this arm of the business and concentrated solely on supplying to this market extending it to include private landlords. This dedicated operation reflects directly in my pricing and that together with my long established reputation allow me to stay ahead of the competition. I maintain an invaluable wealth of knowledge, contacts and relationships built over these years in every area from domestic and overseas suppliers to some very high profile clients and company directors.
