Accelerate Exceed provides StrategicExecution and Strategic Performance Management services to Other Than Publicly Traded Businesses. Both Sid and Edwin Breman are Certified Balanced Scorecard Graduates of the Kaplan Norton Palladium Group. Eighty percent of businesses surveyed say they have a strategy. However only 25% of businesses believe their strategies were effectively executed. The problem is in the execution. For more information on The Balanced Scorecard Methodology see http://hbr.org/product/using-the-balanced-scorecard-as-a-strategic-manage/an/R0707M-PDF-ENG.One of the professional skills I use to deliver these services is coaching when it is a useful facilitation tool. I learned it as non-directive counseling in college and the U.S. Navy where it was a popular leadership tool.

Starting my own business was the greatest professional experience of my life. You don't know what you don't know, but you will find out. I was a general practitioner until 1989, then started putting all my time into consulting. My son joined me when he finished college (actually he had been working with me when he was in high school). We spent most of our time analyzing and working with financial systems. In 1994, our emphasis shifted to business planning and execution. This ultimately led us to Kaplan-Norton's Balanced Scorecard.

I have taught accounting, federal income taxes and financial management since 1975. I found that I truly understood a subject when I taught it. Also, I know that I understand concepts and processes when I can explain them to another person or a group of people. Teaching also keeps me current in my field.Schools: Florida Atlantic University, Boca Raton, FL 1997 - 2012 Point Park College, Pittsburgh, PA 1990 - 1997 The Pennsylvania State University, New Kensington, PA, 1974-1987
