This role is Responsible for the Management Accounting for ANZES Head Office profit centre within the ANZES group. This involves preparing annual budgets, quarterly forecasts throughout the year as well as providing monthly financial reports. This role also includes the processing of all invoicing relating to Head Office, Components Auckland and Engineering profit centres as well as the recharging of costs to our Joint Venture companies. My duties involved daily banking and reconciling of daily bank statements, auditing till tapes and processing monthly accounting information provided by 58 individual Hostels. I was also responsible for the accounts receivable and debt collection. I did a lot of statistical analysis of overnight information ie – nationalities coming into the hostels and numbers of NZ vs Overseas visitors; this included a lot of graphical work . My role also included extensive excel spread sheeting keeping track of various spending and doing monthly workpapers. I processed monthly journals and income reports as well as revenue analysis for various hostels. I also provided support for the company Accountant and Financial Controller with the 6 monthly accounts, and Capital expenditure.
