    I worked at the National MS Society-Maryland Chapter in two roles, most recently I was the Special Events Manager. Overall I had close to 5 years of experience managing and marketing large non-profit fundraising events. I worked with corporate sponsorship as well as recruitment and fundraising efforts for our three signature fundraising events accounting for 80% of total Chapter revenue. My job was to bring a greater awareness about MS to the local community for the purpose of income generation and engagement. There are lots of moving pieces when it comes to special events and I have a strong ability to multi-task a high volume of responsibilities to obtain the desired goals. I also wrote press releases for public awareness as well as articles for our local publication, The MS Connection that is distributed to members and clients throughout Maryland. Finally, I recruited, secured and organized volunteers for our largest fundraising events, Bike MS, Walk MS and Challenge Walk MS.
