    This has allowed me to combine my two main passions, accounting and tennis. My main tasks in this voluntary position tasks include preparation of Income and Expenditure statements, bookkeeping, preparation of budgets, recording purchase ledgers, producing monthly bank reconciliation statements and producing the year end financial statements. Consequently, I now am able to deal with invoices, subscription payments and monthly bank statements which are provide at the club meetings. Key Achievements:Changing the mind set of the club by making sure it is financially viable and is able to pay off loans for tennis courts. Used my organisational skills to provide a more structured system within the club financial records.Initiate and set up Internet Banking for club in order to complete transaction on-line. Resulting in a more environmental friendly clubAlso can provide clear financial forecasting so the club can provide members with important activities.

    This allowed me to expand my horizons with regards to producing budgets and forecasts in order to meet the organisations spending needs as well as giving the club opportunity for funding. Also collecting in affiliation fees form clubs so was important to meet deadlines. Liaising with Tennis Scotland with regards district budgets and doing variance reporting to explain why there were changes in planned expenditure. Finally, I was required to produce the final year accounts and meeting with auditors both local and Tennis Scotland to analyse organisations performance.
