Through PALS, students are able to gain entry to University by undertaking study with the Open Foundation, Yapug, or ELICOS programs.The School of Education provide initial and further teacher education.Since starting with PALS in 2016, I have co-designed and coordinated several course in Foundations in Education, delivered on both the Callaghan and Ourimbah campuses, in face-to-face, blended and online format.I continue to work as a freelance education consultant through Tailor-made Teacher Development (see below).

'Systemic Implications of Pedagogy and Achievement in NSW Public Schools’ (SIPA) with Jennifer Gore, James Ladwig, Thomas Griffiths and Wendy Amosa.The DET and the University of Newcastle's four-year longitudinal study of the links between teachers' professional learning, pedagogy and student achievement. The central research questions were:- Does teaching that exhibits the Quality Teaching model lead to improved student learning outcomes in the NSW context?- What are the equity implications of the Quality Teaching model?- What forms of professional learning are associated with teachers meeting the standards of the Quality Teaching model?
