Managed a global staff of 26 Hr generalists and functional specialists prior to the centralization and regionalization of HR operations. Manged the HR function for the Labs in England, Israel, Japan, and India.Provided strategic HR support to management ensuring the unique needs of the central research labs were addressed and HR programs were customized as appropriate. Worked closely with external recruiters to fill several senior level positions. Designed the implemented the first post-doc program in the company. Created a Visiting Professor/Faculty Hire program aimed at creating stronger relationship between universities and HP Labs. Worked closely with the team in the reorganization of the labs after the split of HP into HP and Agilent Technologies. Handled the HR issues and implementation of closing the existing lab in Japan and opening up a completely new computing research lab in the country. Founding member of the HR subgroup with Organizational Resources Counselors in NY to focus on networking of HR professionals in high tech companies. Appointed Chair for Industrial Research Insitutute's HR R&D Nework which enhanced HP's reputation as a company known for innovative HR programs in R&D.
