Maintains records and files on MEAP (Maryland Energy Assistance Program) clients, vendors and activities. Mails notices of program eligibility determinations to applicants. Mails or distributes checks to oil vendors and to the Baltimore Gas and Electric Company. Maintains accounts and reconciles balances. Refers applicants and clients to other social service agencies and may act as advocates in obtaining needed services. Conducts workshops and audio-visual presentations to educate the public on energy conservation practices and techniques. Collects and distributes energy brochures and program data. Collects and compiles program data for reports.
