    Reporting to the Global Director of Education and Qualification Standards (EQS), I led a team of 4 in the Global EQS central Policy and assurance team. Our responsibilities included:- ensuring technical and professional competencies for professional qualifications were industry-relevant;- ensuring qualification assessments were robust, valid and trusted;- ensuring assessments were delivered consistently globally;-managing accreditation frameworks with partner universities globally.I worked very closely with the central and regional Assessment teams, with responsibility for the following aspects of RICS qualification: who is assessed, what is assessed, and how it is assessed.Other achievements included:- Leading a review of entry into the chartered surveying profession, through consultation with internal and external stakeholders, to implement a new model for professional qualification which is market relevant and globally consistent.- Representing RICS as technical competency expert on post-Grenfell working groups with other professional bodies, on matters relating to construction procurement, building safety and building certification.- Preparing and presenting papers to governance board (Membership Working Group).

    As part of the Education management team, I led the strategy, and oversaw the research and development, of the CGMA Competency Framework, and the CIMA Professional Qualification (including syllabus, learning and assessment), at the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants.Achievements and key projects included:- restructuring of the CIMA professional qualification curriculum in 2015 and 2019- introduction of a combination of computer-based assessments from 2015- restructuring of the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting qualification in 2017- development of the CGMA Competency Framework in 2015; and its revision in 2019- managing the three stages of global quantitative and qualitative research under the banner of the 'future of finance'.My team also worked with accredited universities globally to help them imbed the CIMA qualification into their accounting and finance degree and/or post-graduate qualifications.
