    I was a member of the founding team at ClaySys, where we had this vision to create an application development platform targeting a ‘No-code’ development experience to empower Information Workers. My role has been architecting and designing the ClaySys AppForms product, and I lead the product management technical team at ClaySys. ClaySys AppForms is a next generation software application development platform which is completely ‘Metadata’ driven. So when you create functionality in AppForms, it is maintained as an XML Metadata definition, which is rendered for end users through what we call an ‘App Browser’ module. The advantage of this architecture is a ‘Futureproof’ outcome for any application that you create. Just like HTML being feasible to manage using different HTML Design tools, and being accessible through different Web Browsers, any app you create in ClaySys AppForms continues to work with newer version of the AppForms product, ensuring that is stays ‘Futureproof’, without needing costly upgrade projects to migrate your app to future versions. My current focus is on designing the next version of ClaySys AppForms to support deployment by leveraging Cloud platform as a service options. We are also in the final stages of releasing an Office365 version of AppForms.

    I started my carieer in Compact Systems as a junior developer. Compact systems had developed a product for the banking sector and was supporting more a bank with a chain of 32 branches with this product in the state of Kerala in India. Powerbuilder was used as the frontend and Oracle as the backend for this product. I was a member of the team members which supported this product and worked on the enhancements.
