    Before rising to the position of the Head/Chief of UNMIK War Crime Investigation Section (WCIS), I was a war crime investigator in the same department, for about 9 months, but for brevity I have listed the highest position held in the UN Mission in Kosovo (UNMIK). As Chief of WCIS, I was leading, managing, organizing and supervising work of some 70 international investigators, 18 local (Kosovo Police Service--KPS) officers, and some 14 interpreters of Albanian and Serbian languages. I was in-charge of all war crime investigations in Kosovo. The mandate involved crime-scene investigations, exhumation of mortal remains, autopsies and forensic examination, DNA analysis, taking witness statements, presentation of witness testimony in courts and protection of vulnerable witnesses, and identification, apprehension and interrogation of war crime suspects and accused persons.
