    Shift take over – review with outgoing shift control operator the activities of the previous shift such as deviations from normal operating standards, gas flow and pressure variations etc. to ensure that continuing problems are handled as necessary.Ø Review log book from previous shift to determine condition/status of plant.Ø Monitor process parameters and control within defined limits and take the necessary corrective action in case of emergencies or equipment breakdown to ensure the uninterrupted operation.Ø Follow all relevant operational procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.Ø Writing of Log book and inputting readings of important parameters from field and control room.Ø Isolation of different types of pumps, controllers, etc. for maintenance and start up after maintenance.Ø Basic Knowledge of HSEQ management systemØ Gas Test.Ø Work to permit system.Ø Understanding of PLC and DCS system.Ø Understanding of P & ID.Ø Emergency response team member.Ø Incident report sheet.Ø Health and safety trainings and classes.Ø Use of PPE.Ø First aid.Ø Basic fire fighting training.Ø Knowledge about HSSD (High Sensitive Smoke Detector system).Ø Hazardous material handling.Ø Work Permit System.
