From June 28th 2021 to July 8th 2022, I worked as the Creative Campaign Support Intern (Placement Year) in the Tech side of the company which involved editing videos for internal projects, creating posters (Adobe Photoshop) and using a range of software to create content (including Canva). Role:- Attended various Oracle events.- Hosted meetings for various areas including project planning and team meetings. - I've voluntarily been involved in multiple ERG's, such as the Intern Newsletter (which involves writing articles and researching/gathering information).- I created the Intern Magazine using Adobe InDesign). I lead, developed, produced and edited the content. This included creating entertaining content and continued to promote and market the magazine. - Featured in National Intern Day (video).- Worked with Oracle Interns and staff to create the Intern Report (involving research and interviewing). - Participated in various volunteering activities including the MacMillan Charity (decorating cakes). Riding a kayak, I helped to clean waste/rubbish from the River Thames. - Worked in both the Reading and London offices.- Built rapport through tasks.- Developed and advance my people skills through socialising/networking with Oracle employees and other Interns. - Interviewed employers to create and edit a podcast on Adobe Audition, After Effects and Premiere Pro.- Completed extensive research to write an article for my Oracle blog (as a part of the ERG, Cultural Harmony) surrounding the question 'How Does Society Define Intelligence?' - Gained and improved on skills including learning, teamwork and leadership. Working at Oracle was a once in a lifetime experience which presented me with amazing opportunities, people and skills which I'll take with me into the world of work and industry.
