    My time here was spent between administrative tasks, research activities and illustrating for and designing publications. It was a wonderful opportunity for me to combine my skills and experience as a researcher and designer to create material that was accessible and engaging to wide audience. • As a Project Coordinator, I provided administrative assistance to various projects by coordinating research teams, writing grant proposals, drafting project personnel contracts, administering funds, compiling periodic technical and donor reports and overseeing printing and distribution of publications. • As a Researcher, I carried out literature reviews, maintained bibliographic databases, helped develop research protocols, conducted interviews, and compiled a field-based research and monitoring manual. • And finally, as a Designer, I designed and created illustrations for a variety of publications for a diverse audience: from school children to decision makers in government. Our intention was to make our research findings and recommendations visible and accessible to stakeholders and the interested public. I designed booklets, posters and calendars for education and community outreach programs. I also created information graphics that helped explain complex ecological concepts and visualize data for various projects.
