    Took part in the expansion of the Phnom Penh Post from a fortnightly newspaper into a daily (published five days per week) in August 2008. Following the transition, I was required to collaborate with Khmer reporters on stories, helping them improve their English use, as well as to generate my own story ideas and cultivate contacts.• Established myself as the lead reporter on the Post's national news desk, producing around 400 articles, including breaking news stories, features, analysis and investigative articles• Regularly broke Cambodia-related stories on politics, business, human rights and foreign relations• Fact-checked, subedited, and laid-out articles filed by the paper’s Cambodian and foreign staff reporters

    As Editor of Farrago, the University of Melbourne’s official student publication since 1926, I was responsible for managing each stage of the production cycle for a monthly magazine – from procuring student contributions to editing, proofing, coordinating advertising and design work – in addition to bringing each edition in under deadline• Produced an eye-catching monthly publication throughout of the academic year and met all deadlines, continuing Farrago's reputation as one of Australia's premier student publications.• Successfully built-up a roster of young contributors who continued to contribute to the magazine in 2008 and 2009.• Juggled the full-time editing job with a part-time Master's degree in International Politics.
