    Co-founded Africa Internet Accelerator (AIA), the holding company for ecommerce stores 5rooms.com (home and furniture), kinderelo.co.za (baby and mother), as well as style36.co.za (fashion). We built companies from the ground up. The website operated under a model similar to Quidsi (owned by Amazon), where multiple retail verticals operated under a unified navigation banner. Each site became a (or the) leading site of its kind in South Africa. Not only did we operate the website, but we handled full logistics including warehousing (DC's in Cape Town and Johannesburg), distribution and operated a fleet of vehicles to pioneer same-day delivery for ecommerce in South Africa. Africa Internet Accelerator was invested in, and subsequently, acquired by Naspers / MIH (Africa's largest media company).
