I joined Helix as a General Partner, advising clients and strategy and growth. During my time, established an early stage Venture Capital arm, rounding out the world class product capabilities with the ability to offer capital and support on strategy, sales and team building.

    Crawford-Ash Advisory was a small partnership founded to serve clients between our own major projects. I worked individually and in partnership with exceptional advisers. We focused on practical yet rigorous decision making support in growth strategy, transformation and organisation design.Examples of projects include:• Coronavirus policy for State Government. Led a multi-disciplinary team of consultants, economists, mathematicians and epidemiologists to provide rapid insight during key policy windows; • Business transformation for a sector leading technology company that led to major change in direction, M&A policy and organisational model.

    Co-founder of a telecommunications infrastructure company acquired by Canadian pension fund OMERS Infrastructure Management. Stilmark built, owned and leased telecommunications infrastructure to all leading telcos in Australia.During my tenure as a leader, the business grew from concept to:• Closed one of the largest private telecommunications infrastructure programs in Australia• Developed exceptional teams, benchmarked to deliver at twice the speed of the industry average• Successfully completed M&A activity (acquisition)• Executed five equity and debt capital raisings• Attracted a world-class group of non-executive directors and investors (NASDAQ + ASX100)The company is currently led by Russell Stanners, former CEO of Vodafone New Zealand and continues to transform the deployment, ownership and operations of mobile networks in the region.

    PJP is a top-tier strategy consulting firm founded by senior McKinsey Directors over 25 years ago. PJP advises CEOs, boards and executives on their most significant business challenges. PJP was acquired in 2020.At PJP I was fast-tracked to partnership because I delivered consistently thorough, insightful projects that could cut through complexity and help leaders make good decisions. I worked across Europe, Middle East and SE Asia.Select projects include:• Completed corporate strategy overhaul on an uncompetitive global resources company, leading to a new growth strategy and >EUR1bn investment program. Managed 20 person client and consulting team across Europe and Australia through rolling monthly executive workshops.• Increased revenue by $300m in 3 months for a major property developer and asset manager in the Middle East by developing a new lease negotiation strategy informed by bottom up analysis of tenants and historical negotiation activity.• Advised on a new strategy for a highly sensitive global company including bottom up modelling of multiple global markets to test investment options and competitive responses. Full suite of scenarios took 8 hours to run on a cluster of computers and were designed to deliver clear simple answers to practical yet difficult questions.

Arc's mission is to provide everything students need outside of the classroom.I joined the Board of Directors at a formative time following the removal of public funding for student services and subsequent restructuring and rebranding of four smaller entities into Arc @ UNSW. During this time we hired new leadership, developed a new business model and became financially sustainable.The direction we set during this time remains today as the organisation continues leading Australia in offer for students, financial sustainability and best practice governance.
