This resulted in reduced production costs and shortened production schedules for print and A/V products. • Implemented an Apple computer video editing system.• Recognized the business need for local color printing. Developed a business case and cost estimate and received approval from management for the purchase of the first networked color printer at TECO Energy.• Implemented the first desktop computer, network based, mainframe access (MacIrma). This solved the problem of moving data files between desktop computers and also allowed access to some mainframe applications such as PROFS.
