Kansas City, Missouri, United States
I lead an organization with a 20+ year history of completing more than $3.3M in repairs and home safety modifications to help low-income families, seniors, and disabled individuals stay in their homes. Drawing on my knowledge of property management, investor fundraising and reporting, and team building, I orchestrate all aspects of day-to-day operations, financial management, and people leadership. In 2023, we plan to serve 50% more families while expanding operations in the Kansas City metro area. We are excited about our new collaborations with Children's Mercy Hospital to help people when they need it most.

Managing Partner

2020 - Present
I identify potential investment opportunities, conduct due diligence and coordinate with investors for new acquisitions. After properties are acquired, I oversee maintenance and upkeep for several properties, delivering excellent tenant experiences by orchestrating routine maintenance, responding to maintenance calls, and ensuring a safe, welcoming atmosphere. I collect rent, pay expenses, and maintain meticulous records for tax and investor purposes. I have supported an excellent occupancy rate by nurturing relationships with tenants, proactively advertising vacant properties, and rigorously selecting new tenants. I manage and negotiate contracts with tenants, vendors, and services; proactively resolve conflicts and complaints; and ensure compliance with anti-discrimination laws and best practices.
