KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND TECHNICAL EXPERTISE: ●Analysing and performing detailed review of financial and non financial information to verify the accuracy included in financial statements●Tailoring testing programmes to specific client situations and industries●Identifying areas of potential efficiency improvements for future audit engagements●Communicating issues and progress to directors and partners on audit engagements●Strong project management skills to ensure delivery of audit engagements within tight deadlines●Staff management - mentor, delegation, supervise, train and review work as well as providing feedback on their performance ●Developing and maintaining professional relationships with a wide range of clients, business partners and stakeholders●Assessing accounting and internal control systems, determining their effectiveness and providing recommendations to mitigate any identified deficiencies●Strong knowledge of the IFRS and NZ GAAP●Sharing ideas/knowledge with other staff members and ensuring compliance with PwC’s policies and professional standards●Proactively identifying opportunities to help clients to solve their business problems and provide value-added services●Preparing written documents to be presented to Audit Committees and Boards of Directors●Managing project financials, including building budgets, billing of clients and monitoring engagement recoveries●Facilitating internal trainings
