    AwarEU – European Awareness – is a project financed by the “Social inclusion through Education, Training and Youth” pillar of the Erasmus+ programme key action 3 – Initiatives for policy innovation. The project brings together associations and organisations from five European countries: Italy (Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna), Spain (CEU San Pablo, Universidad de Madrid), Portugal (Universidade Nova de Lisboa), France (Jacques Delors Institute) and the UK (Aston University; University of Stirling). Academics and other professionals from these countries have worked together to create materials and a Virtual Learning Environment on the EU (VLEU), which is available in five languages and contains courses covering a range of issues around European integration from its origins and development through to the European Union that we know today and the issues that it is currently facing.The main tasks I performed for this project are: • Lesson planning for the virtual learning environment of the project• Writing blogposts• TranslationsThe AwarEU website can be accessed at http://www.awareu.eu/en/
