CAN-RGX is a Canadian-wide competition (conducted by SEDS-Canada) for post-secondary students to design, build, and test a small payload to be flown on the National Research Council of Canada’s parabolic research aircraft.The proposal CMD-SAT submitted consisted of outlining the experiment, talking in depth about compliant hinges, their necessity to space exploration, funding, outreach, experimental procedure, etcAs the co-team lead, I helped lead a multi-disciplinary team to write a proposal for testing compliant hinges in microgravity. Being team lead consisted of organizing meetings with professors and AlbertaSat to obtain feedback and knowledge about the area, delegating tasks to the team, organizing meetings, and being a liaison between my team and AlbertaSat, professors, and SEDS.
