    I am a Program Manager at Justdiggit. Justdiggit cools down the earth using nature based solutions.With a background in Agricultural Engineering, and over 15 years field experience in building the resilience of those affected by climate change in Arid and Semi-Arid lands of Kenya, I have developed and implemented climate change projects in urban environments (Sponge cities) and rural environments (regreening of degraded landscapes) in a bid to mitigate climate change and build resilience of communities and the environment. My proximity to those affected by climate change having worked for an implementing partner and now, a donor organization, has made me knowledgeable on how climate change is affecting rural communities, the landscape restoration interventions presently being undertaken, how communities are responding to those efforts and most importantly, what is required to bring all these to scale.

Working at Neighbours presents various challenges in tackling climate change which is so real to the residents. I am placed with the huge task of identifying and developing new water sources besides rehabilitating existing water sources.
