    THREE TERM CO-OP – Spring 2014, Fall 2014 and Summer 2015:During my first co-op term, I developed a pipe flexibility analysis for hazardous material and process piping to ensure minimal deflection, thermal expansion and support design. ► Throughout my co-op, I lead projects that required the installation of pumps in various applications in the chemical industry including: Sulfuric acid systems, Chloroform, refrigerants, waste water, and more. ► I conducted studies and utilized material compatibility knowledge for pipe materials, pump installations, heat exchanges, compressors and other chemical processes.

    ENGINEERING INTERN – Summer 2014:Worked as a mechanical engineer using AutoCAD to design a custom conveyor belt drying system.► Designed and created a detailed drawing package for a belt dryer, using air knives, to blow residual moisture off of parts in a basket placed on a slow moving conveyor that transported the parts through the machine.► Worked with floor mechanics to fabricate the machine through final completion.ENGINEERING INTERN – Summer 2013:Functioned as a mechanical engineer under direction from the project manager in the design and implementation of a $500,000 upgrade to a high speed dry detergent finishing line. ► Designed and drafted fill chutes, diverters, supports, & lanes that would collate and inventory dry detergent packets at a rate of 1,000/minute and developed sequence of operations for software development. ENGINEERING INTERN – Summer 2012:Assisted Vice President of Technical Sales and Head Engineer in the preparation of business proposals to potential customers on projects ranging from $75,000-$150,000 for conveying and parts cleaning systems.► Developed CAD Drawings for cleaning equipment including pumps, valves, piping, conveyors, and general layouts.► Built prototype cleaning system for manufacturer of “Pace Makers”, and demonstrated to customer resulting in a system sale. ENGINEERING INTERN – Summer 2011Worked under shop foreman in the design, purchasing, and fabrication of electrical control panels for systems.► Read electrical prints and constructed electrical panels using components such as PLCs, network hubs, breakers, etc.
