• Involves in mix design processes for various asphalt products such as OGPA, SMA and NAS.• Performs daily a wide variety of tests that includes binder content and grading, maximum theoretical density, Marshall/gyratory compaction of bituminous material and all other IANZ accredited tests such as bitumen, asphalt and aggregates testing.• Competently operates Nuclear Density Meter Gauge on asphalt pavement and base course material to ensure compaction and air voids within the specifications or standards.• Other site testing responsibilities include Bitumen Sprayer Testing, Texture of pavement through Sand Circle Method and Permeability of Porous Asphalt.• Constantly engage with clients on feedback and progress on laboratory and site testing during most major projects.• Ability to carry out duty professionally and to a highest standard in the laboratory and on site servicing internal or external clients.
