IIC fellowship is a social impact program for young professionals based out of the Harris School of Public Policy at the University of Chicago. I was deployed with Centre for Effective Governance of Indian States (CEGIS) and consulted for the Government of Telangana. CEGIS was founded by Prof. Karthik Muralidharan (UCSD, JPAL) & Ashish Dhawan (Central Square Foundation) and funded by Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation-Built most of my expertise in economics, data governance, data analysis, and public policy. Certainly, my most rewarding work experience so far.- Learnt what it is like to work closely in synergy with economists (one must keep up with the most robust research, know why the research is evidence-based, and how to shape it into policies), governments (how to convince a government about research evidence and outcomes, how to build and maintain rapport), young policy professionals (sharing ambition, insights, popular perceptions is incredibly useful to build robust opinions and expertise).- Learnt creating high-quality collaterals for high-profile individuals in time-sensitive environments (also, managed to build work ethic and life balance).

Apart from organizing and attending literary events around the country, I assisted with curating fiction for the annual anthology.
